30 Weeks and Still Singing!

Dear Paisley,

I finally figured out how to post video on here! Now, if I can just figure out how to rotate it... Sorry it's a little blurry. It's off Daddy's cell phone...

Here you are singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Hallelujah:

Here you are singing your ABC's with your guitar:

You are such a little star! :)

You've also been saying a lot of cute/funny things lately that I wanted to make sure I told you about.

-I taught you something the other day....well, kind of....Now, when I ask you where we get medicine from, you say, "The seat!" Then I ask you, "What seat?" You proudly respond, "The pharma-seat!!!" :)

-Whenever your dad or I am on the phone, you always ask us "Who is it?"

-Your favorite show right now is "Tween of Tweens"....aka King of Queens, and whenever you see anything on TV that even resembles it you holler out "That Tween of Tweens???"

-When I ask you if you're ready to put your coat on, you ask me, "Where we goin'?"

-You ask several times a week if can go to Wal-Mart to get diapers and wipes....I think we spend too much time in Wally World getting diapers and/or wipes....

-You are constantly asking your daddy and me "Whatcha doin'?"

-When I pick you up from daycare, a lot of times you have pigtails in your hair. When I ask you who did your hair, you always say, "Bernadine do that." Then you start flicking your hair saying, "I got two of 'em!" When I ask you 2 of what, you say, "I got two ponies!" :)

There are many more things that you say and do on a daily basis, and I am going to start putting them on here as they come up. You are definitely entertainment for this family, which is a good thing since you are always asking us to watch you do this or that.

This Sunday, I will be 30 weeks pregnant with your little sister, Swayze. I can't believe that we are this far along! It's almost over, and I can't believe how fast it's going by. I think you are starting to realize somewhat of what is going on, even though I think when she actually gets here will be a real awakening!

I've been wanting to spend a lot of time hugging you and snuggling with you lately because I know before long Swayze will need a lot of attention and you'll have to share me with her. Until then though, it's me and you Boo!

Got to get you in the tub and get ready for tomorrow's day....Later Tater! :)

27 Weeks

Dear Paisley,

How Far Along: 27 Weeks
Size of baby: Swayze is the size of a head of cauliflower
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 25 lbs!
(And I feel every pound!!!)
Maternity Clothes: I wear maternity jeans and pants and some tops, but I try to make the regular stuff I have work! :)
Gender: It's a girl!!! Swayze Katherine Walls
Movement: She doesn't move as much as Paisley did, but I definitely know she's there!
Sleep: Once I get comfy, I'm good.
What I miss: Being able to breathe! Bending over! Walking without waddling! Skinny jeans!
Cravings: Anything with sugar....that explains the weight gain! :)
Symptoms: Waddling, eating everything, Braxton Hicks, the usual...
Best Moment this week: Paisley laying on my stomach and saying "I love you Fwayze!" :)

It's hard to believe that in 13 weeks (give or take a couple) that we are going to have 2 sweet little girls in the house! I've got so much to do that I keep putting off because I feel like I have a lot longer than I really do! I think you are finally getting the idea that you're going to have a little sister to play and fight with, and that you are going to have to learn to share your things with her.

We've not been doing a whole heck of a lot lately since we did so much during our 2 week break. It's taken a while to get back into the swing of things and in our normal routine.

You came home singing The Hokey Pokey the other day and it was so cute! This weekend my plan is to tape you singing all your songs you like, but my luck you won't want to perform! :)

I am missing you today, so I just wanted to say hey, and let you know what we've been up to.

Love you bunches,

Bye Bye 2010, Hello 2011!

Dear Paisley,

As I look back on 2010, I can't help but smile and be thankful about all we did, had, and went through. With new jobs, new milestones, and new living quarters, 2010 brought about a lot of change not only with you but with our family as well. One of the biggest things is that we found out you are going to be a big sister to a beautiful baby girl in April 2011.

In 2010, you learned your ABCs, to count to 12, to sing Jesus Loves Me, Swing Low Sweet Chariot, and many other songs you sing on a daily basis! (I'll attach the audio as soon as I learn how!)
You also learned how to pedal your tricycle - you kind of didn't have a choice hanging out with Nathan and Caleb....It was either keep up or move out of the way!!!

We had your daddy's family Christmas at Uncle Mike's beautiful house in Oxford this year. Of all the grandkids, you're the only girl! You were playing "football" with the boys and ran and played just as hard as they did!

I also enjoyed my first 1/2 year as a teacher, although having a long break with you and Daddy sure does make it a lot harder to go back to work! I feel like I did when I went back to work after maternity leave with you! However, I sure did enjoy 15 straight days at my parents' house with you and the rest of our family over the holidays! I think Nana and Pappy did too! :)

It's going to be a tough year to top, but I think with Swayze being born, my first summer vacation to spend with y'all, and all of the new adventures to see and do as a family of FOUR, I'll be saying the same thing next year! With all the new things you say and do, you definitely keep me on my toes wondering what you're going to do next! I need to go to sleep to get ready for work, but knowing me, I'll just lay here looking at the ceiling or something. If I go to sleep, it will be tomorrow, and I'll have to spend the day away from you and Daddy....I hate this part of nice vacations!
Here are a few pictures from the holidays that show just how much fun we enjoyed ourselves!

Merry Everything and Happy 2011!!!
